***I do have to do a little disclaimer here.  Please don't ask me to do a "nudest" ceremony.  Even though I respect EVERYONE'S rights & belief's...I can't do that!  Some "things" just shouldn't be done naked...cooking...jogging...and yes, ceremonies.  And Me.  Naked...  NO ONE needs to see that!  LOL!!

What is a Commitment Ceremony & Why?

A commitment ceremony is often very similar to many other kinds of weddings. The difference is that rather than being a legally binding ceremony, it is simply a public affirmation of a couples commitment to one another. Generally, the couples who are considering a commitment ceremony are in a position where a legally binding marriage is not an option for them at this time.  The reasons may vary; one or both may still be in a marriage unable to acquire a divorce from a previous relationship.  It shows the world you are & will remain a couple until able to legally pronounce your commitment to each other.

(the "GOOD NEWS" is if this is your situation; after a commitment ceremony is done it usually forces the "ex" into reality to "let it go") 

Fair warning; not very often, but it does happen; the "ex" is just an A*# and digs their heels in deeper & may cause added stress to an all ready volatile situation. 

The other option for a commitment ceremony is the couple are lesbian, gay, or transgender couple, and thus are unable to marry under the law depending on your state; thankfully, the times they are a changing...

A commitment ceremony may be religious or secular, formal and traditional or loose and unstructured. The makeup of the ceremony will depend on the officiant and the couple's own preferences.

Yes, I do Commitment Ceremonies. 

I take my Commitment Ceremonies VERY seriously. 

It is NOT an engagement. 

It is Not something you do just because you're "In Love." 

It is a conscious, deliberate affirmation & proclamation of your love of one another!  You will receive the same amount of attention, priority and personalized attention that I show my Weddings.

This is a "NEW" aspect of Pgh Blessed Events services.

I am a REAL ordained minister...funerals, well they just come with the territory. 

Recently I was asked by a PBE Family member if I do funeral services.  Honestly.  I had to ponder the idea a bit.  Prayed on it.  Asked for guidance on it... 

As it usually happens with me; 2AM I awoke with the answer.

If you need a funeral performed;

I will be honored to assist you & yours in this time of sorrow. 

Pgh Blessed Events services all.  Not all are church goers.  Not all are even "Believers."  I do believe that YOU have a fundamental "RIGHT" to be sent off on your greatest journey surrounded by loved ones & amidst prayers.  It should NOT matter whether or not you are affiliated with a formal church or for some other reason do not have a "Spiritual" influence in your life.  If you still would still like a Christian burial; please contact us, we'd be honored to assist you & your family.

This service is FREE to ANY Pgh Blessed Events family member or their immediate family.
